Hi

I have been using MIUI custom ROMs for quite some time.

I am using 4EXT Recovery Touch with SMARTFlash ON and my device is not S-OFF
Yesterday I installed the latest version (full ROM) and these are the steps I followed.
1. clear dalvik+cache
2. format all partitions (except sd card)
3. installed new ROM
4. Reboot

Now it is stuck at the white HTC logo screen and is not moving past that screen.

Then I tried to reinstall the previous version of the ROM which was working on my mobile that dint help either.

Also later I tried to restore my existing backup by clearing the dalvik+cache, formatting all partitions and then restored. This also dint help..still stuck at the htc logo screen.

Can you please help.

Thanks

I am not sure, but for fastboot to work we need to have the USB debugging options working isnt it? Since I flashed the ROM now. I am not sure if fastboot would recognize my phone. As I said I am not sure, I will try it out and let you know. Thanks for the help :)

Sorry for the late reply.

It worked out.

After flashing boot.img, restored backup and installed the new verision again and it worked fine. This time I did not do a full wife.

Thanks
