About facebook. ROM have facebook and Messenger installers- it is easiest and shorter way to get correct working x86 version, no need install incorrect ARM versions from GP. If you already install incorrect version then remove facebook updates Settings-apps-facebook-three dots. Then go to app menu launcher and open "f" Facebook icon/Messenger icon- you see facebook or Messenger installer, agree to update. profit, you get correct x86 version. For get update wait that facebook app update yourself


If you have problem in Quick Settings panel even if Settings-Asus customised settings-clear quick settings not help try to do it:
1. Remove data/data/com.android.systemui and data/dalvik-cache/x86/[email protected]@AsusSystemUI
2. Then reboot

On Zenfone Zoom ZX551ML camera working now! Damn, never install this patch on ZE551ML/550ML otherwise lose camera auto focus!

Double tap to wake set in ZenMotion > click on text "Touch gesture" NOT on toggle switch>appear menu where you should set toggle switch on.


Never try to flash this ROM on Android 5.0 or oficial CM13 with Lolipop bootloader. You get bootloop

Asus Mobile Manager removed but you can install it and will work since 2017/11/16. And remember, that for android no need deny autostart, no need close process. Also Asus Mobile Manager have unless functions. I STRONGLY RECOMMEND NOT USE THIS APP and do not trust sweet words about clear and increase. This app is simple extra processes in your system which drain battery yourself and hinders android work

If you have stock/stock based Marshmallow ROM in this time, you may flash my ROM WITHOUT wipe data

b)Added additional thermal states. If on 457 MHz have overheating- freq go to 400 MHz, if overheating on 400- go to 355, if hot on 355-go to 320 MHz and so on. In stock kernel if overheating on 457 MHz- processor goes in 200 MHz and was lags in games
c) Added 640 MHz GPU frequency
10. Minimal level for auto brighness is 6 instead 15, minimal level of manual brightness is 2 instead 15
11.Multi-window mode. you can enable it in Settings>Developer Options>Multi-window mode
12. Multiuser mode support. You can see this in Settings point Users
13.Added choice adoptable storage(SD card as Internal Memory). May do it from Quick Settings after reboot or Settings>USB & Storage>click on sdcard> Menu(three points in Right corner)> Settings)

The NTFS format now works for both read and write (SELinux Permissive is required, as before). Unfortunately, now the manufacturer of the memory card and flash drives is not defined via OTG, in third-party file managers and settings the memory card will be as sdcard1, and OTG flash drive as usbcard.

Ported Asus Camera 4.0.26 with Android 7.0+. There is a drawback: after each exit from the program by clicking the "Back" button, restarting the phone or stopping the camera process, when you re-enter requests to enable / disable location tags, use the "Home" button or the last applications menu

Compared with the previous version, now the settings are saved, except for the default tunes (they will be reset to default ones). If you decide to make a wipe of the internal memory after installing the firmware, then it must be reinstalled, otherwise the part of the functional will not work /

No, kernel prerooted. It have patched sepolicy, init.supersu.rc etc inside boot.img but if you have not installed SuperSU and su binary you can not get root access. need flash SuperSU 2.79SR3 from my link and then install xposed from my link too
