Am I taking any security risks if I input my usernames, passwords, start using this phone for banking purposes? It's S-On...and everything else seems legit, except for the fact that the bootloader is relocked, not locked. Which leads me to believe that at some point it's been tampered with in some way.

How would you guys proceed in this situation? Am I being too paranoid right now??

Yeah, but the fact is that a relocked bootloader is not a "brand new" phone. Is an used one and it can takes problems with the warranty.
