A few more hours to go boys and girls . Everything that was pledged here may not be a whole lot for geohot or any of the devs.... But it sure will buy them a whole Lotta beer! Looking forward to this fine day! Woohoo!

1 hr left. Quick question: if we get rooted and attempt to flash a TW-based ROM, will that trip Knox? Geohot claims his root method won't trip but I assume anything that has an unsigned signature will trip it...

I don't have a warranty anyway but was just curious.

I think what's shady is how these android devs mislead us to believe it couldn't be done or no time soon. When they really meant we have become money hungry since the bounty and which is in my opinion what's holding other devs from releasing their root tool. It took a apple dev to prove skeptical minds deadass wrong. All the butt kissing that goes on in these threads and here comes apple to the android rescue. So much for the we will never see root posters. Now watch a lot of android devs come on and claim they had this and that and could have released this and that lol after 10 am that is lol

Not necessarily my opinion. Just what I've taken away from what other people have said. It's pathetic the a** kissing some people give to developers. If I was a serious dev, I would dislike all of that. It seems so, I don't know, not real emotion?

I have a rooted Note 3 pre-KK and I can flash ROMs without tripping Knox. I don't know if the same principles will apply now, but I'm pretty sure my Knox wasn't tripped when I flashed KNOXRaid. I have DynamicKat Xtreme now, and I don't think that tripped it either.

Well I downloaded tr.apk and installed and made it ra1n.... rebooted... no luck :( att note 3. Not rooted. Damn.

it only roots the note 3 with NC4(from a post I saw in the party thread) which I've never heard of. NC2 is outta luck.

from my locked note 3!

As people have mentioned... Geohot already stated he is fixing this for the Note 3 and says it should be out in an hour or so.... Don't jump the gun guys. He knows what he is doing. He hacked the PS3 for Christ's sake.
