I have a note 10+ that went dead (black screen of death). How can I get it to power back on? I've tried the charging and the side buttons, but to no avail. Is there a way to load a bootloader to revive it? Or any other way?

If it can't be detected by a PC, then noI have a note 10+ that went dead (black screen of death). How can I get it to power back on? I've tried the charging and the side buttons, but to no avail. Is there a way to load a bootloader to revive it? Or any other way?

I was also including that, in the PC detection lol. Even if QC drivers aren't installed, some type of unknown device should be detected in Device Manager
No, need to force it by shorting test points. Then you can say NO if not detected.I was also including that, in the PC detection lol. Even if QC drivers aren't installed, some type of unknown device should be detected in Device Manager
Its not recognizable on the laptop any at all. Since I've gotten it, I've never changed the battery. I will have to have someone check it to see if my baby is really gone.Is it charging? Does the display indicate it's charging?
If it has good charge try holding the power and volume bottons, button (? can't recall) down for at least 30 seconds.
If charging or button power on fails, open it up.
Hard reset by disconnecting battery.
Is the battery good? If in doubt, replace as a charger alone will not sink enough current to boot it. Go from there, it maybe a loose connector, failed C port PCB, display or mobo or possibly firmware.
Generally the N10+ is a very well built, reliable device unless dropped or water damaged. A good case like the Zizo Bolt will keep it safe in drops. It's ip68 rated but never test this, keep it dry at all times as seals can fail unpredictably.
Refresh my memory, it won't go into boot menu or boot, right? Its not recognizable on the laptop any at all. Since I've gotten it, I've never changed the battery. I will have to have someone check it to see if my baby is really gone.
Not going into boot mode. It doesn't do nothing. No indication it is charging. NoRefresh my memory, it won't go into boot menu or boot, right?
When plugged into the charger what does it do?
Any indication it's charging?
Will it show the charge level when you momentarily hit the power button?
Is there rear cover bulging around where the battery is?Not going into boot mode. It doesn't do nothing. No indication it is charging. No
No it's not. I have the phone a little over a yearIs there rear cover bulging around where the battery is?
May be a charging cable, brick, battery, c port pcb, loose ribbon cable, mobo or display failure.
Probably the best course of action. If not dropped or otherwise damaged the Note 10+ tends to be very reliable.
SM-N975U can be unlocked on v5 bootloader or belowI'm trying to buy a Galaxy Note 10+ used and am confused at to what the state of rootability is. I know that unlocking the bootloader is impossible on some versions.
I'm wondering if a SM-N975U can be bootloader unlocked and if, which revisions and how can I tell which revision is it when browsing on Ebay?
I'm also checking out the international version that come with the Equinox CPU, like a SM-N975F but they are not easy to get. The SM-N975U1 seems to be a problem, but I probably can avoid it.
What is the current state of affairs? Did you boot unlock yours successfully or did you have to give up because it is impossible? I would like to hear your real life experiences with it.
How can you tell which ones these are? Can I tell from a model type?
Guess I'm not most people....Well, I think most people would want to keep Samsung pay, Knox, etc. Rooting is just not worth it for a Samsung flagship nowdays.

Well if people know anyone on here we can get a team and unlock the bootloader/root I've been trying to find possible "bugs" but nothing at all its extremely hard because older tricks that people used are patched and I'm still running 9.0 on my note 10 and still nothing.... I dont want to update to 10.0 till people find a root method but its extremely hard now a days but with a team I feel like it could be done
