Having had a look at an Xperia Z with Bravia turned on and off, I can assure you it does.Those aren't real samples from Bravia Engine but some simulations to show what it actually does. Thankfully Bravia Engine doesn't change pics THAT much.

i would have thought because the bravia engine is based on the bravia engine found in their TV's, i.e., its only really optimised for pics and videos.Too bad it's only for pict and video. But better than nothing, if sony have technoligy that give accurate color, why the **** sony only apply it for pict and video. I wonder why

Well it depends on the pictures of course, but I don't think it's that bad. I mean, it sure makes some things way too saturated but it's still nowhere near AMOLEDs. At least we can turn it offHaving had a look at an Xperia Z with Bravia turned on and off, I can assure you it does.
