So I was following this guide to installing roms on my captivate.

I used a jig I bought off ebay to get into download mode. I started odin in admin mode and loaded the bootloader upgrade.
It starts loading and gets stuck at loading boot.bin for over 20 minutes.
I disconnect the usb cable to try again, and it looks like I bricked it.
It won't go back into download mode, and I just get this screen with a phone to computer icon with a yellow exclamation mark.
It does this even with the jig.
Did I hard brick my phone?
EDIT: Fixed! It looks like the yellow exclamation mark screen could be used as download mode too. Odin recognized it as such and I was able to reload the bootloader upgrade.
