I don't know if someone will read this thread (the forum seems dead as well) but I have a problem with my Honor 10.
I was attempting a rollback via otg from 9.1 to 8.1 but something went wrong. While the process was checking the update package it failed with this error "Software install failed: Failed to check the update files. Please download the package again". So, after this message I've pressed the button on the screen to reboot the system, with the usb drive still inserted. Since this moment, the screen rested black, so I removed the usb pen drive but nothing changed. I tried several buttons combinations but screen always black. The only good thing is that it get recognized by the pc via fastboot, I tried to reboot via fastboot without result. What could I do? This seems strange to me because it even started the installation, was only checking the package! What happened?
