Thank You for your reply . Tick kernel is working Properly . I have downloaded the flash files 4 times . But I am getting a error while flashing . Posting here the screen shots. Can you help me in this regard..........

Thanks......
So first thing to do is to try holding down VOL - during the entire flashing process. For some people this worked. For me it didn't make a difference.

Failing that, one of the thing I noticed that the files and folders you're using has different file paths from what I wrote in the instructions... If you got the files from the tickernel site (x620_flash_tool_androidbrick, LeEco_x620_SP_Rom.androidbrick) it should be these directory paths:

Download Agent : \..\..\x620_flash_tool_androidbrick\secureboot\DA_ BL_HIGH.bin
Scatter-Loading File: \..\..\LeEco_x620_SP_Rom.androidbrick\MT6797_Andro id_scatter.txt
Authentication File: \..\..\x620_flash_tool_androidbrick\secureboot\aut h_sv5_letv.auth

If you got the files from elsewhere (like Gizmodo per my 'option B') then you also need to make sure that you follow the paths correctly per the Gizmodo author androidbrick. However, a quick look at the Gizmodo site screen shot and comparing to your screen shot, it would seem that the files you're using to flash either has very different naming convention as well or is not from the Gizmodo site either!

So I would suggest that you try to download the remaining files from Tickernel or Gizmodo just so that you're following the instructions 100%, and don't make any name change to the folder or files.

At Last At last my phone is working . I figured what we are actually doing. Actually what we are doing is we are flashing the le eco x620 firmware as well as boot and recovery in our x626 phone . And then we are relocking the bootloader . And then we are flashing the original Le eco x626 via fastboot method.

What mistake I was doing is , I was trying is I am trying to flash the x626 firmware via sp tools. Your guide is very very detailed . It will be a saviour for lot lot and lot of People.

We need x626.rar file as well as x620 file from tickkernel . First we have to flash the x620 firmware in the phone via spflash tools . And then phone boots like mirrored . Then we can boot into fastboot mode. We are relocking the bootloader through the files in the x626 rar . After that we are flashing the phone via dos commands.

Without your Guide Nothing could have been done.

Thankyou very much . Thanks . Thanks.......................

Can't thank you enough for this guide.
Τhe phone came with the problematic stock firmware 5.8, so I tried to flash a compatible rom, then it got to the red light stuck mode, was a pain in the ... to find a way to unbrick it, so your guide helped a lot, some things need to be clarified a bit more clear yes, because when you have to choose the right files for the SP Flash Tool, it's easy to mess up, especially when selecting the scatter file. The connect-disconnect was irritating, but once you learn to play with the vol- button it will flash without any problems, the phone is back to life finally, thanks again, ill keep all those files around!

Ah ha - so that's what where all doing all along! Thanks for that info. I'll be sure to mention in the guide in case people are wondering why we had to do all this flashing and downloading a bunch of files for. Also congrats on getting your phone back! :highfive:

Congrats on getting your phone back! Yes indeed it is easy to mess up. I got stuck for days on the flashing part because I kept selecting the wrong files from the wrong folders!

I have another doubt .How to install twrp .Can you point me to a proper guide.....
Unfortunately I didn't try to install TWRP after I finally unbricked my phone in December, and at this stage I have already personalized the x626 to the point where I'd really rather not lose all my data again (took me a while to rebuild my contact list!). So I guess I missed my 'window of opportunity' to experiment with TWRP installation with little risks...

I can point you to https://www.getdroidtips.com/install-twrp-recovery-via-fastboot-android/ which was the website I used, but that was kind of how I got my phone bricked (although admittedly I was rather careless in following the instructions so may be the website is not to blame). If you can get it work then do let us know which site offers the most fool-proof advise/instructions!

Ok ,
So just bricked my phone with TWRP
Anyway , downloaded the required files and installed the right drivers .

So far so good. When i start the Smartphone Flash tool and press download nothings happens. Not even an error message .
The com port is in the device manager and the phone doesn't connect and disconnect. Just stays there.

Looked trough logs in the SP tool and find this errors

com_util::Reset(0000121C): OK!, baudrate(19200). (FlashToolLib/host/windows/com_util.cpp:340)

ERROR: com_util::WriteComm(0000121C): retry(0), reset(1), Err(31). (FlashToolLib/host/windows/com_util.cpp:366)

Any help will be appreciated

Just figured out that my preloader was gone. It should enter in META mode but can't . That's why I receive this error

Tried all da power/up/down combinations. Sadly can't remove the battery :(

BROM ERROR: STATUS_BROM_CMD_SEND_DA_FAIL (0xC0060003) Can't pass this one . I'm trying to install the preloader since mine was gone

You haven't picked up the right files in SP Flash tool

Find my post I have a link with detailed unbrick guide

My device would connect in meta mode it work for me by pressing volume + and power right after the download button is pressed

Hi - ideally you should be able to see either "MediaTek DA USB VCOM" driver OR the preloader driver (I personally used the first one). You should have installed one of them from the Windows+10_MTK+VCOM+USB+Preloader+Drivers inf file. Another variation is a generic MTK driver though I have never been able to flash successfully with that one.

I'm not sure what is the name of the USB port that shows up on your device manager when you connected your x626 to the PC (it should be named after something!). Whatever it is, you can test to see if it works by trying to flash the phone. If the flashing doesn't work, then it probably means you installed the wrong driver, so I would uninstall the drivers and start the whole installation process again. This time make sure that you install either the "MediaTek DA USB VCOM" driver or the preloader driver when you are at the "Have Disk..." part of the driver installation.

Hi so what happened is that you have the generic MTK USB driver, which doesn't work with the flashing process. What you need to do is uninstall this driver for this port from your device manager (right click on the port, then click Uninstall) and then repeat the installation process again OR instead of uninstalling you can simply keep reinstalling the MediaTek DA USB VCOM driver using the Have Disk method.

Also be sure that you are allowed to install signed driver (per my instruction - though it was written for Win 10). If you had not done this, it may have prevented you from installing the proper driver.

And see my original instruction on this part on what should have happened if this process went smoothly:

1) After the MTK driver installation is completed, take out the phone
2) Keeping the device manager windows opened, plug the phone back in again
3) After this, disconnect the x626 from the PC's USB port and reconnect again. The PC will most likely try to switch to another COM Port and reinstall another generic USB driver. If it does that, repeat the installation process to overwrite the new generic driver and COM port with the MediaTek DA USB VCOM driver . Keep doing this until you end up with a situation where you have the PC cycling between 2-3 COM ports in the connect/disconnect loop but at least they will be showing MediaTek DA USB VCOM every time.

In either case, the goal is to get to the state where your drivers is cycling back and forth and connect and disconnect every 5 seconds. As ironic as that sounds, the cycling process ensures that "MediaTek DA USB VCOM" driver shows up and when it does you can immediately connect and do the flashing process (holding the Vol - button stabilizes the drivers and allows flashing to happen apparently) - assuming of course you already have the flashing stuff set up and ready to go.

Ok, finally did it! No I'm in mirrored mode (remember that in that mode even your input is mirrored)

First : Power the phone with VolUp and VolDown
Use DA agent : DA_BR.bin

All the other things are the same as article . You can use the drivers for here .
https://spflashtool.com/

It doesn't matter at all .

Watch for the hardware IDS in the usb

%MTK6218%=Reader,USB\Vid_0e8d&Pid_0003,USB\Vid_0e8d&Pid_1003 this one is MTK USB Driver that corresponds to MTK chip. If you can't see this there is no way to recover your phone. If you install one of the drivers manually Windows will do all the other things by himself

%MTK_COM%=Reader,USB\Vid_0e8d&Pid_0023&MI_00
%MTK_CAT%=Reader,USB\Vid_0e8d&Pid_0023&MI_02
This one is to enter preloader mode and recover the phone after you install a preloder
%MTK_PRELOADER%=Reader, USB\Vid_0e8d&Pid_2000
After preloder is installer this one is used to upload all the other information
%MTK_SP_DA%=Reader, USB\Vid_0e8d&Pid_2001

Hey guys! This seems to be a project of the more troubling kind. After spending embarrassingly long time trying to follow this guide, I thought I finally had it together! However my phone fails at the absolute final point in this guide. In step 5, when trying to run 刷机.bat, my phone will stubbornly tell me the bootloader is locked. I have tried nearly every other possible way, but because of the fake serial this Chinese version uses before flashing no adb's seems to find the phone.

I was wondering if the problem might be in the unused file "DA_BR.bin", but I have no idea where I would be to implement it and therefore am just generally stuck. Been scratching my head for quite some time now. Any suggestions to what might be the cause of the problem?

Thanks

Just to help any person that get the error "BROM_CMD_SEND_DA_FAIL" (error number 0xc0060003) with sp flash tool.

I spend one day to solve this error ><

If you get this error, simply use the DA_BR.bin download agent instead of the DA_PL_HIGH.bin used in the tutorial.
