Bricked Le S3 X626 after flashing TWRP, can't power on, PC won't recognize device

Hey guys! This seems to be a project of the more troubling kind. After spending embarrassingly long time trying to follow this guide, I thought I finally had it together! However my phone fails at the absolute final point in this guide. In step 5, when trying to run 刷机.bat, my phone will stubbornly tell me the bootloader is locked. I have tried nearly every other possible way, but because of the fake serial this Chinese version uses before flashing no adb's seems to find the phone.

I was wondering if the problem might be in the unused file "DA_BR.bin", but I have no idea where I would be to implement it and therefore am just generally stuck. Been scratching my head for quite some time now. Any suggestions to what might be the cause of the problem?

Hi - that's certainly a new error. I successfully unlocked my bootloader right before I bricked my phone trying install TWRP so may be that's why I didn't get any problem when I got to this step...

I presumed you tried going back to the beginning and redid everything until you get to the mirrored screen stat again?

If you're still having the same problem, you can try the method from this Tickernel link instead (which was what the guide is primarily based on): https://tickernel.org/how-to-unbrick-leeco-le-2-x620-red-light/ This guide includes the part where you get to use "DA_BR.bin" file (which I ended up not needing). Let us know if this works!

The only missing parts (which should be done before entering Part 5) in this tutorial is:
1. Just before doing part 5, boot your Phone, activate developer mode then enable OEM unlocking and USB Debugging then get your phone back to fastboot mode so you can start with Part 5. In my case the 刷机.bat failed because the phone can't unlock which i suppose the 开机oem解锁-音量下+开机键_读取Devices.bat failed to unlock it or unlocking isn't really its purpose.
2. In order to not confuse yourself on the small details for the last part, do extract the 乐视S3_X626 folder on your desktop then follow the steps indicated.

Edit:
For Info, the finished unbricked phone will be
named Device as Le 2Pro (which you can just rename to another)
name Model as Le X620 (might need to do stuff on build.prop to change)
use a les3x626 scatter file if you want these to show device info correctly.
not that it matters to most of us who are fine with just getting the phone unbricked

installed twrp and new rom and after that i locked the bootloader (yes i am idiot, dont ask why did i do that), the phone died (bricked with red light)
I locked bootloader without enabling oem in developer settings first. Right now i am unable to flash anything.
I am stuck on bootloap without any recovery, only with fastboot mode.

format your phone with the MTK flashtool given on this thread then just follow the steps carefully. The reason why you and most people mess up their phones is because there is two variant of this phone, an MTK and a SD so be really careful with installing those twrp and roms. be sure they are for what variant of phone you have.

It seems like there are a few people who locked their bootloader before bricking the phone. I have no experience dealing with this problem myself but sneaky2 suggested formatting as a solution. Please try this and do let us know if it works!

So everything went fine until the flash memory stage. The phone goes to fastboot mode and all that but when I try to flash memory it just doesn't do anything. It gets recognised as an "Android Bootloader Interfase" under "TP-LINK Android Phone". What should I do?

Hi Bro. Thanks for your hard work, this is the most complete guide on the web about unbricking LE X626 phones. I have a problem, I used the MRT Dongle tool to free the phone thinking it was Qualcomm, I bricked the phone. Now I used your guide and others to revive it, will tell you what happen

Update 1:

Now I have mirrored screen, when I tried to flash with "开机oem解锁-音量下+开机键_读取Devices.bat" it says "Not allowed, now its fixed by botting up the phone and enable "OEM Unlocking" on developer options (yes, I did this with mirrored screen, so difficult), after finish flash, i send the "fastboot reboot" command, the phone has bricked again (coonect and disconnect). Now I have an idea, I will do all the process but delete the lines on the .bat files that flash the boot and recovery... Will tell you what happen...

Update 2:

I flashed this "开机oem解锁-音量下+开机键_读取Devices.bat" deleting the recovery and boot lines, now the phone has correct screen, not mirrored but wont boot. I will flash "Letv3 LeEco Le -X626-5.8.018S-6.0.1" and let you know what happen... The phone got bricked again...Now will do all the process from begin again... Now I have mirrored screen but I fixed by flashing ONLY "

fastboot flash lk lk.bin

" and "

fastboot flash lk2 lk.bin

"from "S3_X626" folder, If I try to boot twrp the phone brick.. I dont know why... Will tell you what happen, I will try some things

After trying some things (none works) Ive downloaded this firmware "LeX626_Fastboot_5.9.023S" from a russian forum, then i did all the process again, then flashed these firmware and voilá! Works! -The phone is booting, now its on "welcome" screen...

Glad you got your phone back! Can you tell us if you formatted the phone with the MTK flashtool as sneaky2 suggested or did you simply redo all the steps in the instructions again?

If you did the Formatting route to fix the problem, please let us know as well what options you selected (Auto vs Manual, Format whole flash vs Format whole flash except Bootloader). This way I can add to the documentation and be of help for other users!

Hi I had that problem as well and from my memory, I resolved this by uninstalling all the drivers associated with this USB device, then reinstall the VCOM driver again. Then the 'only' problem you'll have left is the phone switching port. However, as my instruction at the beginning of the thread indicate this should not stop you from flashing.

You can try to flash with the MTK USB driver though I never heard people of being able to get it to work with this driver (I couldn't get it to either)

Press and hold the power button for 10-20 seconds. the phone may not be completely turned off.
Which download agent are you using?

If DA_BR, then before connecting the cable, hold the Vol + and hold.
If DA_PL, connect without the clipped buttons.
error 0xC0060003, just occurs if the button is not pressed, or vice versa. it depends on the agent.

Permit me to add this few details @op
I find it difficult to flash my phone on windows 10 despite following all your steps one after the other...
But became successful immediately I switched to windows 7.
2. The bat find wouldn't run if it location ain't local disk C...
