bricked my I777 with odin

I was trying to restock my s2 I777 so i could sell it. well I didn't notice that the repartition box was checked. Now it is completely unresponsive. I have planned to send it to Jtag(I could be one of there best customers). But my question is doe having the repartion box checked normally hard brick a phone? And I do have a download jig for a I727 will this help me at all? Thanks

I have very little experience with repartition. I have read that it's not particularly dangerous to use repartition with a correct pit file. If you have it checked and there is no pit file selected, then I think it does nothing, or else uses the pit it gets from the phone. Not sure about that, but again should not brick.

USB jig's are not phone specific. Try using the jig to see if it puts the phone into download mode. If that doesn't work, remove the battery and leave it out, hold one or both volume buttons while plugging in the usb cable. PC will supply the power for the phone. If neither of those methods work, and there is still no sign of life of any kind, then ...

Thanks alot I will try it now. Its my first time posting a question, normally If search long enough I find some kind of answer. And I dont want to fill the forum with noob Questions. but thanks for the advice
