Bricked nexus 6?

Ok so im a fan of flashing and last night i flashed an old rr lp rom with right gapps and flashed ok, was set to auto reboot but it shutdown and wont boot up. Still charges on wireless charger so any idea whats happened? Luckily i had a spare board i recently bought but ive lost all my data now. Any way of getting it back or getting the board to work again?

What version of LP was the ROM? Something tickles my memory that downgrading to one of the versions didn't work. 5.1.1 was a problem... maybe 5.0.2? It's been awhile [emoji4]

You don't want to downgrade the bootloader, but you probably knew that.

I take it you can't fastboot to the device?

You don't want to downgrade the bootloader, but you probably knew that.

It was 5.1.1(5.5.9), no it won't boot at all and computer says it malfunctioned

Ouch. I don't know if this thread (fix-fix-qhusbbulk-cm12-t3059518) will help you. It dates back to the bricks that happened around cm12 updates. It's the right vintage though.
