I've read somewhere that is it possible to burn "fuses" in NAND memory.
After that there supposedly is no physical way to make your device function.
Maybe corrupt blocks on the partitions are actually burnt (nand blocks?)

Congrats on your new device :)

You should consider changing the wording of your header. The way it can be read now is that you bricked your phone, then repaired it by flashing LP1.

As to destroying your phone by knowing the risks and still doing it, then lying to push the cost to Samsung, I won't comment on that.

I have the same situation as yours. Now guess i'll wait for the stable ICS (official) or just stay on GB.

Sucks for everyone that got bricked by flashing that garbage kernel. There is nothing wrong with LP1. I use Imilka's AOSP everyday and it is the smoothest and fastest ROM right now.

This is a respite for me, I hope I say the same. My phone has been on the SAT 2 days, but I have not yet confirmed OR THAT THEY HAVE MY NOTE!
