bricked rogers captivate? help please

I just updated the samsung usb drivers and it detects my phone now. I flashed it to 2.2 and the phone is booting up as normal. Not sure if its going to work. Thanks for the help. Btw, can I do the same to install gingerbread 2.3? or should I update using the kies software?

going BACK things that have already been linked in this very thread....LINK NUMBER 2 to be exact....

if you would have READ....you would have seen that you can flash 2.3 the EXACT same way.....
