Dear everybody,

I bricked my Sony Tablet S (SGPT113NL/S) after a failed update. Now I'm searching for a dump or a rom or something that I can recover my tablet.

Thanks,
Bart

Try the last update R5a for your region twice in a row and user adb /tmp/recovery.log and post it here. We will see what is happening

unblock your tablet s

use ota.url.finder v1.3a to find and download the update zip file (the region of the update file must match your tablet) from this http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1671608
copy the update zip file into the sd card
insert the sd card into tablet
switch off the tablet
press the vol+ and power button to enter the recovery mode
choose the update zip file in sd card
flash it and then it will auto reboot
now the tablet is unblocked

bricked sgpt112us

I have a Sony Tablets S model sgpt112us and one day it was booting up when an error message appeared. (0x00030100), instructions online said to perform a factory reset to clear this error message, but after the factory reset was performed, the tablet now hangs on the Sony logo screen with that same error message. The tablet has not been rooted or have a custom rom, it is fully stock. I followed directions to go into recovery mode, but I am only able to navigate to the factory reset option and the update from SD card option, but I cannot use the power button to select either option. The tablet is not recognized by the computer at all and Sony service wants the tablet sent in for service because they think it might be a motherboard problem. I would appreciate any help before I spend $160 for service.
