Home buttons broken, Is there any way I could make another button go to the home screen? Such as long pressing back button or something

It won't fix your physical broken button but, download Button Savior from the store.
Maybe go to the button remapping thread...

button remapper app doesn't work with X2,
try manually remapping

Remapped it! And all it took what switching the word SEARCH to HOME

Glad you got it working. I have a question about the buttons though, are they supposed to have an LED backlight behind them?
Yeah. When the screen is awake a white light should come on behind them.

So now the home button is somehow pushing itself, is there a way to completely disable the button?

Have you deleted HOME from the original home key in the file? If not I would try that and see if that works.
