My daughter captivate usb port broken, to charge battery I got a standalone charger and extra battery .... but now I want to update cm10 , is there anyway I can download file without having usb port???

You can download the file directly on the phone = easiest way.

Or you can get a file sharing app (that works with Wifi) and tranfer the CM zip with your network = more complicated way.

What ROM is her phone running atm? The process might be different than just a quick flash.

Use either the browser or the XDA app to download the files you need (follow their instructions).

What do you what to transfer to the cm.zip? You can backup your apps with Titanium Backup if that's what you mean.
