When I click a link, ics does not pop up a box to choose which browser I want to use. I see in settings that I can set the one I want to default to, but for different sites I want different browser,so I like the popup. Any way to get this feature? I'm using stock tmus ics.

Different sites/different browsers, never seen that app or baked in feature otherwise.

You can use Clear Defaults in application management to set a new default, but thats the closest I've seen.

What I am saying is that in previous roms, when I click a link, if I have more than one browser installed, it would ask what browser I would like to open with. It was not an app. There is no option to clear defaults that I can find in ics.

This usually means you have set a default browser. You need to go into the manage apps section. Depending what browser, off the in built browser you may need to go to the "all" tab. Select the browser and scroll down to clear defaults.

This should then give you the option.

ICS new browser settings

The problem is not what everyone thinks it is. Clearing defaults all you want will not fix this undesirable problem.

What has happened is the update has installed a new option that can not be disabled. It allows you to only select 1 default browser and does not give you the option to select a browser when clicking links. Therefore, you can no longer use other apps to open links and must use the 'default' browser that is locked in the settings options now.

I have been dealing with this problem on the HTC Sensation with the ICS upgrade published by HTC/T-Mobile. So far, I have not found the fix but I'm working on it and hopefully HTC will have the fix soon because the problem has become wide spread now.
