Hey guys, i can't see the pictures taken, the screen shows black. It can be because i dont have google photos, but i dont want to install it. Any recommendations?
You don't need Google Photos, there is an option in Settings > Advanced > Use a third-party gallery.

Regarding the black viewfinder, you might have disabled network access to the app (for example, via LineageOS App info > Mobile data & Wi-Fi > Allow network access.
You have to enable it again unfortunately.

Ok I tried some newer releases. I am the only one who have blue selfie video cam? The whole video is blue tinted. So I need to do some settings to fix this?
No blue tint here... I remember facing this a few versions ago. Have you installed the latest version?
If yes, it might be useful to clear Data.

I have fixed it. I was using an XML config from the bsg telegram group, that caused it. but I didn't liked it so I created my own.

Do anybody have modded ram patcher settings for the main cam? The colors are really dull for my opinion. Especially when you compare it with the miui cam. We can boost the saturation a bit but I miss that shiny lively style from the original cam... Unfortunately the AEX cam is unstable and buggy.

I updated my XML config. Pictures are a bit brighter now, and I set some other defaults but when I want to raise saturation pictures begin to get noisy. So ram patcher is off.

    In the mountain
    Google Nexus 5
    Xiaomi Poco F1
What is the difference between the 5 apks of the same version (snap, mgc, ruler, eng & scan3d)
These 5 files differ only in signature. On some devices, additional modules need a certain signature to work, for example, for Samsung - scan3d or ruler. If you have Xiaomi, then any will suit you. For OnePlus 8 - snap, OnePlus 7 - Eng, in all other cases you can install any.

I made a BSG 8.1 config for the F1. This is mostly stock with some modifications for a better AWB. I'm pretty happy with how it turned out so I'm sharing it. I can't find a proper setting for the front cam tho. F1 uses Samsung S5K3T1 for the front cam but it's not available in the options. I opted to use the T2 instead since they look pretty similar.

Guys, I'm sharing to you a XML that I made by myself, it's related to BSG 8.1 and to be more specific, this version: MGC_8.1.101_A9_GVx_MGC_libs.apk. So, I think it's fine, but I open-mind to some suggestions , if there are some point to improve, please, share with us what we could do. Anyway, here is two XML, one with Ram Patcher (Lorran.xml) and other without Ram Patcher (Lorran_8.1.xml).
      2
It is the best that I've tried in everthing but AWB (in my opinion).
Feel free to improve the config further :)
And if you do so, don't forget to share it 😁

For those who are interested. There is a new bsg config group on telegram where you can find XML files.
      t.me/configs_channel

A telegram user created a pretty nice XML for Poco, including ram patcher settings.
Default it's for miui ROM. But the android 10 miui ROM for Poco is an insult for everyone who likes quality software. So I modified it a bit to get it work on AOSP ROMs.

These are exclusive releases to devices Poco F1/MI 8/Mix 3/2S. Nobody can guarantee these to work properly on any other device. Please don't spam this thread requesting the port to some 'x' device. You can search for the similar thread in your device forum and report any bug/request there to find similar users. At least mention the device name if you're talking about any other device other than the mentioned ones above. Update the device before installing it.

-Google made it for Nexus 6P with Pixel 1 in mind. Who knows back then it's going to create a revolution in mobile photography ?

-Mostly cosmetic changes + added new custom lib(Xlib V2) and removed some useless ones to get apk smaller.
-Xlib V2 is tuned with I phone XS Smart HDR in mind. Personally I like this one more than Pixel default lib because it doesn't crush shadows and maintains natural colors like I phone XS along with the magical Pixel HDR+ algorithm. It's like the best of both worlds but feel free to test before settling on one. (Thanks to Xtrme)
*Now GCam's exposure slider should work fine and it will not conflict with manual focus slider at any time.

-Manual Saturation control added. (If you feel it's over saturating pics - 1.2(Highlights)& 1.5(Shadows) saturation works best for me on POCO F1. Users with MI 8 experiencing faded colors due to MIUI firmware issue can set saturation of Highlights - 2.0 and Shadows - 2.2 which is recommended by many.)

      HDR+ & portrait works
This makes the device POCO F1/MI8 as one of the first Snapdragon 845 device to support portrait in Gcam even before the pixel 3 release. Thanks to the great work by B-S-G.

      Sep 17, 2018
Initial test release with HDR+ & Video working. Portrait takes time to fix as it isn't working on any of the Snapdragon 845 devices and expecting it to change with the upcoming Pixel 3 release.

Recommended settings for Poco/MI 8 (Updated on Mar 5, 2019)
(These settings are just recommended for the best point & shoot experience possible. You are free to tweak as you like.)

If you are using San1ty mod- Just download this config and copy it into GCAM/Configs folder to set the below settings automatically. You can load the config by double tapping on the empty space near the shutter button.

If you're using Bsg build or you want to tweak the settings manually, you can have a look below. (Few toggles can be at different places or minor renames in San1ty mod but they're easy to find. )

HDR+ is recommended for most of the situations. Use HDR+ Enhanced only if you need details in highly bright areas like harsh sunlight.

      BSG Mod Settings >

      Input Model
      >Interface style - Pixel 2
      >Back Camera - Pixel III XL
      >Front Camera - Pixel III XL
      >Config - Pixel 2018 ZsIR Hdr+

      HDR+ Parameters
      >Min. ISO limited by exposure - Off
      >Minimum frames - 7
      >Maximum frames - 7
(Use 24-24 if you need slightly sharper pics but processing takes more time.)
(Use 14-23 if you use HDR+ Enhanced more often than HDR+)

Don't change anything in Night Sight parameters

      Final jpg quality HDR+ - 100
Disable zoom in portrait mode - On/Off (Optional, It's your personal preference depending on how you want a portrait to look)
Save to DCIM/Camera - Off (Optional, You can turn it on but few users reported problems with it like deletion of pics. Logs are appreciated)
Turn on Pixel 3 AWB - Off (Only on San1ty's build)
Enhanced HDR+ in portrait mode - Off
*Only enable 'Add Aux to camera switch' if you are using MI 8. (Use Bsg build if you need this option.)

Libs - Xlib-mod V2/XS or default depending on your personal preference of contrast. (Use whichever you like but I recommend Xlib-mod V2/XS personally.
      A simple explanation
Default(Pixel 3) - Boosted colors/contrast with more noise and less sharpness
Xlib-mod V2/XS - Natural colors/contrast with less noise and more sharpness.
You can read it in detail below.

Default - These are default Pixel 3 libs. Saturated, less sharpness and crushed shadow detail for boosted contast just like in Pixel 3. It may look beautiful in the first glance but can be inaccurate most of the times.
Xlib-mod V2/XS - It is tuned with I phone XS Smart HDR in mind. Personally I like this one more than Pixel default lib because it doesn't crush shadows and maintains natural colors like I phone XS along with the trend setting Pixel HDR+ algorithm. It's like the best of both worlds but feel free to test before settling on one.
Eszdman - Looks almost the same in comparison with default libs but has better shadow detail which may positively/negatively affect contrast depending on the scenario.
Savitar - Natural colors but slightly less shadow detail compared to Xlib V2 and has a grainy look to it.)

      Saturation
      Back Camera
      >Highlights saturation - 1.0
      >Shadows saturation - 1.6
      Front Camera
      >Highlights saturation - 1.0
      >Shadows saturation - 1.6

      Fix
      >Viewfinder processing - Enable 'Motion' & 'AE' (Only in B-S-G build.)
      >Resampling method - Raisr (Only in San1ty's build)
No need to change anything else in 'fix' section for our device

      Happy New Year everybody.

      MGC_6.1.021_V1g

      -Slow Motion works
-New config added : hybrid pixel3 + night mode (last one in the list). It should be faster and more detailed.
      -New libs from Eszdman included.

Note for newbies - This has been posted numerous times but the thread is plagued with same questions.
-It works on MIUi Pie Beta and Custom roms just by installing the apk
-You need to flash the Magisk or TWRP fix for MIUI Global Pie Stable 10.1.3 if you have unlocked bootloader.
-Use the Oreo version on Global stable if you have a locked bootloader until Xiaomi releases the new update.
