Hi Guys, I got some trouble with the connection of my 3t (unlocked, rooted, OOS 9.0.5, otherwise stock) with two different headunits that I wanted to use in my car.
Forst off all the 3t does very well with the headunits (JVC KD-X451 dbt and Kenwood KMM-BT505DAB). It connects without problems and the "Spotify control" works very well, too.
The problem occurs when I'm switching to "BT Audio" on the headunits.
When music is playing on the 3t before switching to "BT Audio" the music plays for second via the headunits, but music doesn't start playing when switching to "BT Audio" and starting playback afterwards.
And now it gets weird. In "BT Audio" (after only a few second) the BT connect gets lost and my 3t turns on and off BT constantly ?
It only helps to switch the headunits to a mode where no audio is streamed from the 3t to the headunits (eg Digital Radio). Then connections establishes again.
I read that both headunits use AVRCP 1.5 so I switched the 3t to AVRCP 1.5 in developers options but that didn't help.
I tried it with my Galaxy S3 and it works like a charm without any problems so I guess it's no problem with the headunits but rather a 3t specific one.
Has anyone faced similar issues or has some kind of advice anyway?
