The answer is NO.Hi i hava a question and i want a straight answer. I own a Motorola Defy+ MB526 and i want to install Android 4.1.2 Jellybean CM10-20130307-NIGHTLY-mb526.zip latest Quarz release. Should i install battery fix or not? And what is the proper fix file?
My contract came up for renewal so I decided to get a Galaxy S3... no RIL bug so farQuarx added the bp panic in the latest build 18.03 so from now we are saved with this workaround for RIL.

Ohh man.. it sucks..There is no fix. The only workaround is to install the CM10-20130318-NIGHTLY-MB526 and the device will automatically reboot.
Or the latest build CM10-20130326-NIGHTLY-MB526 but you have to copy from 18.03 build the file system/bin/panic-daemon to the same directory to your phone and set the right permissions.
There is no fix to this problem.
Interesting... Which build?Guys one news
I have disabled the network location access in settings and seems that the RIL bug it's gone.
Could someone try this and report if is working?

Did you asked Quarx if is there some workaround or solution? It sucks to reboot each time that bug appears, maybe better to automatically (and silently) turn off/on the RIL to recover phone function...thanks in advanceGuys I know it's sad but true.
After sending my phone in service for the fourth time with the RIL bug the guys from the service center have changed finally the mainboard.
So now for sure it's a hardware bug.

The workaround is already implemented by Quarx in it's rom's and is done only by reboot the phone. This workaround is also in stock rom's but without warning.Did you asked Quarx if is there some workaround or solution?
