My phone was in service for a month and a half for this RIL bug.
So:
- original phone they changed 4 mainboards only one was not having the RIL bug but with this one the GPS was not working.
- after this they decided to change my phone with another one brand new. But even with this I had the RIL bug even worse than with the original, so I send it back and they changed again the mainboard and now I don't have the RIL bug for 2 weeks.

Fixed the error in telephony layer restart

Hi all,

I bought a Motorola Defy second hand with a broken screen and it was fine for a month until I replaced the screen and back housing. After I did this I started getting the error and restarts. Turns out that the connections on the logic board weren't connecting properly to the points on the back housing that I changed over. I also cleaned the sim card contacts but am certain it is because of the connection points inside. I cleaned them and lined them up better.

For anyone else that was to have this issue, it wasn't fixed from the above. Thought it did but it returned.
