Hello Everyone,

Xiaomi has started to push the OTA roll-out of MIUI Global 10.3.5.0 Stable (PFKINXM) for the Redmi K20 Pro (raphaelin)

* Optimization: Reduce noice at low volume for earphone and speakers

* New: Locking Google contacts is available now

Lockscreen, Status bar, Notification Shade 
* Fix: Fingerprint icon didnt always appear on the lock screen

Game & Speed Booster
* Fix: Hands-free call duration wasn't displayed correctly in Game Turbo

Mi Cloud
* Optimization: Improved sync across multiple devices

Bug List | Reported Issues:

* Picture in Picture broken for Google Maps (Workaround go to recents first and then go home or any other app)
* 5ghz portable hotspot is broken
* Heating & excessive battery drain while playing PubG in the initial tests.
* NFC is force disabled in the global rom 10.3.3
* Touch issue and Battery Drain issue repored by some users while playing PubG
* Finger Print Login not working for G-Pay and some banking/finantial apps.
* Finger Print Login Bug where it asks for Fingerprint and Password both at the same time (G-Pay App)
* No support for Amazon Prime Video HD content, though Widevine L1 is supported.
* YouTube 4K is missing
* Slow Motion Video needs to be more optimized as its too dark
* Front Camera performance needs to be optimized as portrait mode pictures are grainy and shaky
* Front camera Video calling is over exposed and beautified and needs to be optimized.
* Notification icons on the status bar go invisible within an app when the keyboard is activated in dark mode.
* Notifications on lock screen do not appear even after enabling everything for app and inside the settings
* Auto Brightness needs improvement as its dark most of the times.
* Google Lens built in the camera is broken and it FC's when activated.
* ARCORE isn't supported
* Front cam pops up while trying to share pictures to Instagram stories.
* No 4g+ on Jio & Vodafone (Works on Airtel to some extent but not all the time)
* Opening an image in Google Photos, images goes dark - because of Automatic Contrast option in Display color settings in device. Google Photos should not be affected by this. Disabling Automatic Contrast - everything is fine after that. Stock gallery app is not affected by this.
* Need to reduce Noise filtering while shooting.
* DNG/RAW format is not present for 12/48 Mp options.
* Installing Android for Work (AFW) for Work emails errors out when setting the email client as a device admin.
* Pocket mode for Video Calls (Whatsapp/Duo) is buggy as the front camera pops up even when in pocket.
* Headphones/Earphones mic not working on discord app but working everywhere else

Known issues 10.3.3

Is picture in picture for Google maps fixed on the Indian version? It's sad how fast I became addicted to that feature.

I already updated my ROM to the new version and I'm unable to root my device. The TWRP gets installed and when I root the device using Magisk-v19.3 it just keeps booting back to the recovery.

PIP for Maps is broken for me on the 10.3.3 and i will report the same to the team.

If its a slot game, try flashing magisk on both slots or try magisk beta :good:

Supposedly pip in maps is fixed in EU 9.7.18

You can flash 10.3.3 if you have unlocked the bootloader, by miflash via fastboot. but NFC is lost

Im glad that the video/audio issues are fixed and that ok google works like a treat. The one flaw i picked is 5ghz portable hotspot is touchy, sometimes it connects, sometimes it doesnt. As soon as i switch it to 2.5ghz connects straight away. On 9.7.11 it connects in an instant on 5ghz.

Ahhh ... PIP works for me on other apps but not for Maps. Lets compile all the bugs we encounter and we can report it all together.
Ill compile all on post 3 for everyone's easy reference :good:

Hey mate! Thank you for this awesome post! You've been as helpful as you are in my other devices subforum. Just a quick question, I'm currently using Mi Globe Rom, a modified Xioami EU rom. My bootloader is unlocked and with TWRP. Can I flash this on my K20 Pro and what are the pre-requisite before flashing?

hmm, exactly which actions do I have to do to check if PIP is broken? Cos I've tried to open maps, start a route, than minimize maps and I've the PIP on the corner of the screen working perfectly...maybe you are referring at PIP working in another condition?

Btw the rom looks kinda stable, no issue so far from me, google works really well (on the opposite of those roms out of xiaomi.eu). Only issue is NFC, for what I've read, it's supposed to be disable by default cos isn't available for indian market, it's true or just an assumption of someone?

with NFC working, the rom could be perfect...(but I don't need it so for me a working google > nfc)
