Bug report/regression - TWRP 3.3.1 does not decrypt /data (TWRP 3.2.3 is OK)

Device is a Pixel XL, I have tested this on both an old build of lineage-14, an older build of lineage-15.1, and a recent build of lineage-16

I am using the official twrp images from https://dl.twrp.me/marlin/

Using twrp-3.2.3-1 I am prompted at recovery startup to enter my pattern. Upon entering it correctly, decryption works as expected.

Using twrp-3.3.1-3 the pattern prompt does not appear, and most of the files in /data show encrypted filenames and the file contents are unreadable.

Naturally, the practical workaround for me is to continue using the older version. :) . However, I would happy to help diagnose and fix this issue to assist with TWRP progress. Please let me know if there is more information I can provide or other avenues where I could report this issue to the TWRP developers. Cheers!

I think you should post this on this thread: https://forum.xda-developers.com/pixel-xl/development/twrp-alpha1-pixel-devices-t3500312/amp/
