Unbranded firmware doesn't get updates via carrier, they're direct from Samsung, some sooner than others

All my Samsung phones have been unbranded but this one is from a carrier, I could flash unbranded and get updates a bit sooner but so far it looks like they're only about a week behind Samsung's fastest unbranded updates so not too bad, soon enough the updates will only be security updates anyway, nothing interesting like new features, then when Android P arrives I might switch to get it earlier but we'll see
