Building Slim7 for MSM8917 (LG K20 Plus) - build error involving ALSA?

Hello, Travis. I just wanted to know if any plans for Resurrection Oreo were out and, any progress with volte yet? If not what are the issues preventing us to enable it on our phones? Also guy's I got a first hand look at Android P today. It looks pretty good. I know that we will be in here discussing that one day once it fully releases in the future.

I wont be working on Oreo until it is released by LG, it would be pointless for me to spend days/weeks trying to get the kernel Oreo capable just for LG to release an Oreo capable kernel for our phones shortly after. It's not worth the time for me to spend doing it. Voice over LTE I think is a blob issue at the moment. i've been working on trying to figure it out but i just keep breaking more in the process. I am working on 64 bit again. The battery life is much better on it now, but so far i have gotten 64bit lineage built with a constant google play crash, about half of the apps crash randomly. And RR bit wouldn't boot at all. So i'm working on that whole mess. i've been working on it for the past few days now. Lack of hard drive space makes me have to clean up temporary files before switching build trees. it takes build times from 50 minutes up to 4+ hours. It's making all of this very time consuming.

I'm trying to build resurrection remix oreo ROM for the first time for MOTO C PLUS , do I need to make some change in kernel source, because when I delete kernel/moto folder and try to brunch I got the same error as when the folder is present...I have tried command make - j4, bunch <device name> and I'm getting this error in terminal

1, we haven't gotten Oreo booting yet on this chipset on this device. The xiaomi_riva might be a better place to look if your device has a Snapdragon 425 chipset. 2, this is a thread for the LG K20 Plus. Not the Moto C Plus. 3, if your kernel source is for nougat, you will need to merge the latest Oreo Caf tag for your chipset base.

@Travisholt92 I can't send or receive any messages on my k20 still? My imei shows up, I reset APN to defaults, tried adding MetroPCS default APN manually, still nothing. About to wipe cache in recovery and see if that helps, but if not do you know what else I could try?

Hello, Travis. I just wanted to know if any plans for Resurrection Oreo were out and, any progress with volte yet? If not what are the issues preventing us to enable it on our phones? Also guy's I got a first hand look at Android P today. It looks pretty good. I know that we will be in here discussing that one day once it fully releases in the future.
