Hey guys!
Is anyone aware about this news?
http://blog.checkpoint.com/2017/03/10/preinstalled-malware-targeting-mobile-users/
It seems that our devices has a bult-in malware:
com.lu.compass Galaxy S7 f901fd1fc2ce079a18c619e1192b14dcc164c97da3286031ee542dabe0b4cd8c
So... how do we remove it via ADB?
I own one Galaxy S7 Edge and I`m a little bit worried.... My device is non-rooted so I can't use Titanium Backup or any easy solution to remove it. I tried to look for "compass" and no app was found, probably this is an internal apk intented to run together with other apps (like GPS nav....). Right?
If the above statment is right, if we remove "compass" we may get force closes, right? Because every app that is intended to use compass will request data from it and there'll be no data being returned
Should we be worried?
