Bumper that works with mods?

Hello, everyone! When I was doing some research on accessories available for the Z3 before it was released I noticed that I couldn't find a Bumper for the Z3 and/or Play.
To my surprise and relief, Verizon Wireless DOES have a bumper available for the Z3. My current set up is the Z Force with a bumper, ZAGG screen protector, and battery moto mod, so this was huge for me.
Because I couldn't find any bumpers available on Amazon or eBay, I wanted to make sure others were made aware that this is available.

I'm pumped and can't wait to get this phone in my hands! I know a lot of people are saying the specs aren't as good as they should be for a 2018 flagship, but I think the price point and the features are enough for me and most users. The Moto Mods (camera, battery packs, and speakers) are extras that I use daily so I'm glad that Motorola offered an update. I'm a little bummed in the lack of Shattershield, but I'm hoping the bumper and protecter is sufficient!

So that's the z3, not play? Plus, us Canadians can't likely get it here.

The z3 and z3 Play have the exact same body. I ordered a z3 Play case for my z3 that I got today, and it fits like a glove. Didn't know about this bumper case, so now I've ordered that as well.So that's the z3, not play? Plus, us Canadians can't likely get it here.

You're lucky, I'm pretty sure they won't deal with us Canadians. lol
Oh, didn't know the Z3 And the Play version were same dimensions. That will make life easier, cause my Z was thinner than Z Play, and the Z seemed to be harder to find cases for. Plus had to be sure you were looking at the right cases.

Assuming they don't ship to Canada and other places outside US, hopefully these end up on amazon soon. :good:
I also purchased this for my Z3, but found some mods difficult to take off. Modified the bumper case with a dremmel, and now love this "case." Removed lip at bottom rear that sat in the notch on a lot of mods, and also cut a notch out to get my finger nail between the mod and phone. The wireless charger mod does not have this notch and would not mount to the phone with the lip on the bumper. View attachment 4579713

Just received my bumper. I see what you're saying. I can't take off the battery mod because the notch on the bumper case fills the space where my finger goes. Also I imagine most of the style shells wouldn't fit with this bumper. I may take some scissors and cut the notch off. Otherwise it's great, just what I've been looking for.
You can try scissors, but my cutting pliers didn't want to do much more than indent this plastic. If you don't have or want to invest in a dremmel, you can probably use the dremmel bits in a drill. The wireless charger mod is set up like the style shells and didn't want to go on with that plastic tab in place. Once it's gone, it fits fine. Can confirm the "wood" style sell from my moto z force fits without issue.

I just purchased the moto z3 through Verizon and was able to buy a bumper from them only cost 14.99 + tax. It took 2 tries to get it because one of the store reps did not even know they had one.

A few weeks of use proves it has precise cutout for fingerprint scanner and MOTO Mods, and it is not bulky. The dealer tells me they are developing new bumpers/cases for Z3 Play. Do you have any ideas?
