Is there a way that I can configure buttons to do other functions? Like the PTT button to lock the phone and etc.?

BUMP. I am also looking for a way to map the PPT button, to lock device KEYS. So i can stream music, with out fear of hitting a button and ruining my audio fun.
egoist6 Yes, thats the same app i had on me 8125!! Solid mapped to #5 on my 8525 Works now as wanted.

it is cool because it does not require the device lock home plug in, can be configured via control panel und supports "easy unlock" (device can be activated by only two presses of buttons, with other apps you need two plus one for touching the screen).
