Buying a used S5, will it root?

I'm tired of my S4 overheating on Skype, so going to upgrade to an S5. I'm looking at getting a used or refurbished from Amazon and do not know what OS version it will have. What are the odds that it will not be able to root and rom?

Follow this thread read every post even the nonsense ones and think before you buy. Its a good phone just have to be cautious.
