Honestly both phones are pretty bad... P6 has modem issues, so of you like consistent data and the ability to make calls then it might not be the phone for you. The P7, fixed the modem issues, but is having back glass issues. So either you have a crappy "phone" that is solid build or a good "phone" with crappy build quality.

That sounds like a problem to me. How about 4G/5G on the P6P?

I really don't want to jump back to Xiaomi, nether iPhones. I don't really like Bixby on Samsungs and their price are still pretty high on my country.
The Pixel 4XL was the best deal for me tho, but its EOL so I'm thinking for a jump
You don't have to use Bixby if you buy a Samsung Galaxy phone. If it isn't Pixel 5 or older which come with unlimited Google Photos storage (even if Storage Saver quality), I would get a Samsung/ Vivo/ iQOO or OnePlus phone.

The P6P is an absolute beast of a phone, especially considering you can get the phone sub $300 right now if you are in the US. And to be completely honest outside of privacy concerns there aren't really too many reasons to run a custom ROM on the phone as you can just root it and change next to whatever you want. I currently use 3C Tools (to manage my battery and flash custom boot up screens but there is much more you can do), AOSP Mods and Pixel Launcher Mods (to customize the UI and tweak things like the lock screen and notification panel), 2 Button Gesture Restore LSposed Module, Adaway to block ads, the Call recording Magisk module, Fox;s Magis Module Manager (for the built in repo) and MacroDroid to force my phone into 4G when at my friends house because 5G doesn't work worth crap and the only way to have decent battery life at his house is using MacroDroid to identify the towers at his house and force my phone into 4G.

I mean, except for Pixel, Mi13, Samsungs or these lastest OnePlus, the rest are not my taste anymore, but they come with a pretty high price so I thought P6P was the best for me, I will check on the Samsungs maybe :( or iPhone would be a good option

Xiaomi doesn't allow gesture navigation with 3rd party launchers. This alone is a deal breaker for me as I have no interest in installing custom ROMs or rooting my phone anymore.

I have phones from several brands (except Pixel) and overall, I'll choose Samsung as my primary phone because of their cameras and also the software experience (with GoodLock modules installed).

OOS 12 & 13 have some pretty annoying things about them. FunTouch OS13 on iQOO and Vivo phones is better.

Some say the problem would be fixed with software updates. And i don't see any aosp users complaining about this issues. Is it still going on right now. I'm planing for 6 pro but this connection issue is holding me back.

I've had the P6P for over a year. Just unlocked the bootloader a few months ago. I remember after getting the phone, coming from a OnePlus 7 pro, the signal strength was weak in many areas and data recovery was slow to non-existent. Those problems still exist with AOSP roms, and 1 year later. I've gotten used to it now but it still doesn't make it okay

I have done a comparison of software features by OEM. It is not complete as I don't have devices from every brand. But it can still be useful. Check it out:

6pro or 7pro, take your pick, they're pretty close to the same.
Screen is lesser on non-pro, as well as memory, and camera.

I have a 7 Pro and the wife a 6 Pro. I like the 6 Pro build quality a little better so I would go with that.
