After all of the updates it will be version 7.5 right? is it Mango? Sorry I'm new to W7 I just happened to see my dusty HD2 lying around so I played with it and honestly I like it!

Would you recommend updating it to 7.8? I'm still reading and I think it will be a long one... but if you can answer I tried downloading Pdaimatejam Rom Wp7.8 and the zip contents is like the base win7 from Yuki so I assume installation is the same?

yes after the updates it will be Mango (8107)

Wp7.8 has a much nicer start screen so why not have the latest and the installlation method is the same way

I hope you don't mind me throwing additional question, since the installation is the same like what I did in the first rom of yuki do I have to add the step of magldr in Services I think it's the UseLast24NAND and clear partition? Or just straight install of rom via magldr usb flasher? Thanks!

if you want move from Yuki ROM to another, first you must unlock SDcard because card is locked (only Yuki ROM lock cards)

after card is unlocked, go to magldr, clear partition (no need for USELAST24NAND because already used... only if you flash WM6.5 or use Task29 then you use this option) and flash new ROM...

you can look install tutorial from my signature...

No need to downgrade you can install it on any version

i write: if you move to another ROM (this mean: other author)... if you want stay with Yuki then unlocking not needed...

I get it now I've managed to install latest rom but after reformatting my card I wasn't able to hold it longer so it boots again to W7 bootscreen, I was able to pull back the battery then try to run latest rom update but upon booting it says Storage card not working no hope in reviving this right?

try doing hard reset( when magldr shows 1,2,3, hold vol up and down when it shows you options press vol down to reset)

if it still does not work you might have to install yuki rom and unlock storage since the sd might still be encrypted or use an old nokia phone to format it there is a list of devices that can format it.

I tried a few reinstall of Yuki then tried pushing cab to unlock but my phone hangs after boot animation, I tried few more installing deviceprovisioning.cab first but experienced another hang, I tried to do reset by holding vol up and down then push device unlock then another hang, reset again then boom I saw that the app was installed even reset was made. I managed to unlock and reformat my card now then successfully installed new ROM. I can sleep now... Thanks to all of your help!:highfive:

Yuki himself has passed away quite some time ago. May God rest his soul.

Unfortunately, this also means that there is no support any more for any issues which may arise from the use of Yuki ROMs. The only possible solution which comes to my mind is trying to salvage all the data from the SD card using the phone with that Yuki BTT ROM on it, then shut down this phone, pull out and re-format the SD card on another phone to make it usable again. As Windows Phone somehow encrypts the filesystem on the SD cards, there seems to be no other way to go.

first you might want to try to backup your phone with wp7 backup app linked in first post of hd2owners rom
you must then use storage unlock on the card which you are using with wp7
then hard reset (settings/about/reset) and put in the locked card before the phone switches on, then storage unlock that one too.

yes, that is why try backup first. Although I don't think that app worked for this rom, ymmv.
Edit; of course you could use a nokia phone etc to fomat the old card

Hi isaiah12345, i have 1, 7, 8 and 10Gb, sorry.
You could try editing the cab, see http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=226864

im on a very old build 8107 and hope that the IN CALL AUDIO can be fixed via this Cab
