The AOSParadox Project 2.0

What's CodeAurora Forums ?
Code Aurora Forum (CAF) is a consortium of companies with projects serving the mobile wireless industry. Software projects it concerns itself with are e.g. Android for MSM, Femto Linux Project, LLVM, MSM WLAN and Linux-MSM. Code Aurora is basically AOSP plus all Qualcomm specific enhancements and optimization.

What's AOSParadox Project ?
AOSParadox is a vanilla ROM. Our goal is to pick the least amount of commits possible on AOSP code. Why trying to add features, when CodeAurora provide us with chipset's specific sources ?
At the opposite of most of ROMs that you can find, the trees are made by oursleves to be integrated in this new ROM type.

What should I be aware of ?
Everything is custom and made to work with CodeAurora Forum's sources so customs kernels won't boot (ramdisk is different, selinux rules too, ...).

What doesn't work ?

I have a problem with location. I can get a GPS fix but I can't seem to get a location through cell towers / Wifi.
As said GPS works so it's not that big of an issue but smart lock for example doesn't work.

Hmmmm .... I'll see what I can come up with.
Maybe the props are wrong but that would be surprising.

Maybe it is the same problem that all custom ROMs have. Normally who can't get a fix to GPS try this http://xdaforums.com/showthread.php...=3282951]@Tantin[/user], you should try that.

Hey guys, long time no see!
Here i am with a new (long awaited) update.
    Changelog generated from my brain:
    Add doze support
    Fix camera
    Fix multisim RIL
    Switch to stock blobs
Remove useless "mods" like supersu in settings
Switch to @h2o64 's 3.4.0 CAF kernel (no useless moto stuff, updated base etc. etc. so the experience with the device will be way better, and it has working cpu OC for the people who want it).
Disable block based ota (like it was in kitkat).
    Update GPS HAL to LA.BF.1.1.3-00610-8x26.0
    Boost incall volume
    Fix autorotation

    Download link: https://basketbuild.com/filedl/devs...sParadox/AOSParadox-STABLE-20151228-titan.zip

    Enjoy :)

For all the people waiting for a new update..
First of all, sorry for not letting you guys know anything about what was going on. (Both my device and the rom)
My device was gone for 3 weeks to get it repaired and im not a fan of doing stuff without testing so i didn't release any update.
Second, we are redoing the whole rom for twice a better experience, it will also include a pure (3.4.0) CAF kernel (thank @h2o64 for it ;)) and much more awesome stuff so stay tuned!!

Oh ok thanks, i don´t remember Luk or Luca announcing on the CM thread that the camera has been fixed.
I fixed camera for paradox and I sent it to CM
