This still only uses the microphone so it pretty much only records yourself. Is it something I am not configuring properly?
During the instalation I did what the software suggested. Nothing more ore less.
Unfortunately, it doesn't record properly after Bluetooth
The new version has multi tasking windows. However I miss call recording.
Seriously, this is unbelievable. Mate20pro at the beginning everything looks fine. Full screen photos on incoming and outgoing calls, call recorder -> EMUI 10 -> you get dark theme, but you lose full screen photos. -> EMUI 10.1 -> you get pointless AOD colours, but say goodbye to call recorder. Never Huawei phone again.
Wow! HTC One M9, for example: Android 6, big contact photo >>> Android 7, small contact photo. Do you really think Huawei is standing all alone with that changes of usability mentioned above? NOPE!
This should be punished by law. You are waiting every update like Christmas present and every time I'm more and more disappointed. The only Android phone which I was satisfied with the updates was OnePlus 3

I believe there were much more people using this feature.
I hope its easy to fix it.

For now the only option to keep the call recorder is not to allow updates to emui version 10.1 .

I use the App Cube ACR works great without root on my mate 20 pro with android 10.
Or install Skvalex app. I've installed yesterday, and it work. Maybe it's not the same as HwCall recorder, but this app do what it schould do.

And you say it works on Android 10.1? I been avoiding update just because Skvalex my most important app.

I`ve tried Cube ACR. It works but kinda I do not trust them. They ask for way too much permission.
HwCallrecorder was so simple and reliable. Wish to have to back.
I installed Emui 10.1 last night on my P30 Pro.
No more Huawei call recording (that I installed while I still was on 9 and worked on 10)
But my problem is I can't use any of the third party call recording apps (ACR, Skvalex). They can't access my microphone even though the apps have permission.
It seems like the Huawei call recorder is interfering, I don't want to uninstall it (don't even know where to do that) in case it Huawei decides they will enable it again.
Anyone else with the same problem of not being able to use third party call recorder apps?
