Probably true but by no means certain.
Devices that no longer receive system updates are probably safe from harm; those that are more recent/currently being updated may well fall foul; with the user being unaware that a key feature is being cut-off.
As for Huawei Call Recorder, even this has been a specialist install since at least Android 9 because Huawei have sought to claw back the feature.
Also, from a purchasing perspective it means that anyone looking for a replacement device will have to have do yet more homework to see if the capability will be available to them.

For my honor magic 4 Pro after install success but there is an error on no external memory card as magic 4 Pro don't have external memory card
Give the rights to the microphone and memory to the program Contacts and Records, the error will go away.
After restart can use but the default voice recorder app cannot be open. Need to find it in the file to play the record,the default voice recorder app when press nothing happen

I need it too because the voice recorder inside got a folder name call, inside u can see ur call recorder record inside with name of ur contact easily. On Huawei there is no problem with the voice recorder and call recorder
There is a solution atm to this incompatibility? A call recorder taken directly from a chinese version of Magic 4 Pro?
No idea is taken from Chinese version or not, the contact name can be see with number so I just use it and if want see the call record need go to the folder for now

Used to listen to recorded calls that cannot be seen normally on the recorder.
Supports light and dark theme. There are many languages (Polish, Czech, Russian, Ukrainian, German, French, Spanish, English, Turkish). It allows you to play back recordings, send as a file.
It supports file location on the NM card and in the internal memory, so it can be used interchangeably with the recorder. Supports all files from CallRecord folders with internal memory and NM card. On Android 10, it defaults to a dark or light theme, depending on your system settings. In addition, it includes a light and dark mode switch.
Note, the application does not contain ads and is free.
The only permission is access to the file system. No data is collected and processed.

It's really convenient when use your phone as a work phone. For EMUI 10.0 and 10.1, you first need to delete the old version of call recording (application names: version for EMUI 9.1 - "Recorder" (do not accidentally delete the built-in voice recorder. Call recorder has an icon in the form of a green robot), and versions for EMUI 10.0 and 10.1 - " Conversation recording ")! After installing the application, it is recommended to restart your smartphone.
Displaying records in a contact and a dictaphone: Access to the memory must be provided to the "Contacts", "Dictaphone" and "Call Recorder" applications (for EMUI 9.1 "Recorder").
