My p smart 2019 just upgraded to Android 10 and call recording still works [emoji1]

Because either A: he's from a region that has that option available by default or B: he upgraded to Android 10 from 9 which already had call recorder installed.

Huawei P30 Pro writes the application is not installed. android 10.0.0.173.

Regarding, Problems recording tlf calls.
When on EMUI 9 I installed the tlf answer machine from XDA. And it worked perfect. Thanks
After upgrade to EMUI 10 (without cleaning the phone) the recording symbol on the dailer in a call desapired (even it should be there, explained on XDA), and it's now showing the standard number pad. And no automatic recording as before.
I have tried to install the alpha EMUI 10 answer machine (from XDA), but it won't install. (probably bechause I already installed EMUI 9 answer machine before, when I was on EMUI 9, and didn't reset the phone after upgrading it to EMUI 10).
I then tried to install another answer machine from Google Play, but it always comes up with the error "another app uses the microphone".
Is there possibly a way, to uninstall the EMUI 9 answer machine, as it's not showing up under apps list ?
So I can install the alpha EMUI 10 answer machine from XDA.

You can uninstall the huawei call recorder, you have to choose "show all apps" in list, but you won't be able to install anymore without downgradeRegarding, Problems recording tlf calls.

So what you are saying, is that if I uninstall the emui 9 version, (that's not showing in tlf calls, I can't install the emui 10 version ?

After uninstalling, you won't be able to reinstall in Android 10 without downgrade! EMUI 10 seems the same file as EMUI 9 (for size, didn't check CRC)
I just checked on my phone, it's called "Recorder" and doesn't need to show all apps to be viewed in applist, can be easily uninstalled
Note that recordings won't appear anymore in stock recorder after EMUI 10, you must use a file manager to open them from SD/Sounds/CallRecord (I have NM Card) and works
Or you can move it up a folder, from /Sounds/CallRecord to /Sounds/ only and they will appear in stock recorder app (works in both NM Card and internal memory)

I installed the EMUI 9 file on my EMUI 9. Then I upgraded the mobile to EMUI 10, and after that the recording botten on the dial pad (in call) was gone, and there was no recording at all. Then I tried to install the EMUI 10 version, but without luck. It seems that I have to wait to the devoloper have resolved the problem, and then install at that time. Thanks for your help up to now

I install HwCallRecord_EMUI10.apk in emui 9.1 then update to emui 10 and it is working perfectly
Mate 20 Pro 10.0.0.154 here, after EMUI 10 I still had the record button. Maybe you had to activate it in phone settings before update?Ok,

I had install it on 9.1 in my p30 pro and now it's work with Android 10. No problem.
But one issue..
When I share a call with whatsApp in Android 10, its send with .amr
You cannot play the amr on iPhones or other Android phones.
With android 9 I had no problem. He shared with whatsApp audio. Can everybody help me?

Notify says "call recorded" but nothing on the device ...
How can i uninstall or give permission?

I see now, the app records on the sdcard but the phone cant see the file, from pc i can open and the recording is perfect, in any case work: D
