Now it's installed and recording but I can't find the recordings.

You can see the recorded calls in Sounds\CallRecord directory
Also, if you give the Contacts application a permission to access the Memory, you will be able to see and to play the recorded calls directly from the call history of each contact.
It's almost working.
I found the recorded files, but I have 2 problems. I gave contacts permission to access the log recordings and they do show up but when I try to play them directly from the play button in the log I get "No application found to handle this."
Second, the drop down notification for Call Recorder shows the calls and recordings but when I touch "tap to view" nothing happens.

You need an app that can play audio files. I set the Music app as default but the Solid Explorer has a built-in audio player too.

The voices of the caller and the person who answers the call are recorded in different channels. May be the program that plays the recording only plays one channel. Did you try another program for listening to recordings?
Thanks! I know what the problem is! I had the ACR program running before and it was apparently blocking the other channel. I turned it off and it works great!
Hi guys, first off, great job with the call recorder! Was waiting for a while now. Anyways, last night I downloaded and installed it on my P30Pro and after the update to 10.1. 0.161 it works great. So I figured, let's install it on my wife's Mate 10pro. It installed OK, but can't work. Same happens on my P30Pro while on 10.0. Can someone explain why?
Try installing this APK (attached to the message) on your phone mate 10 Pro with emui 10.0.
Just delete the call record that you set up before.

The call recording feature is definitely working on ÍEMUI 10.1. You might have received the error message 'App not installed' because an earlier version of the call recording app is still on your device. The P30 Pro was released with a native call recording app pre-installed. If you upgraded your device to EMUI 10 and then to 10.1 and haven't performed a factory reset since then, the old app is still on your device. As it was written above and in a similar thread post (https://forum.xda-developers.com/sho...&postcount=105), the call recording feature was preserved on Indian region devices even on EMUI 10.1. In other regions, the feature became disabled after the EMUI 10 update. The official Huawei communication is that the call recording feature was disabled after the EMUI 10 update due to data protection laws and regulations. However, the India region apk can be installed on EMUI 10.1. and it is working perfectly.
So, if you haven't performed a factory reset since the EMUI 10 and 10.1 upgrades, you should uninstall the old call recording app.
1. Go to Settings>Apps>Apps.
2. Then in the top-right corner tap the three-dot menu and tap on 'Show system processes'.
3. Scroll down to an app called 'Recorder'. There might be two apps with this name. One is the Sound recorder app and the one with the android bug icon is the old call recorder.
4. Uninstall the Recorder app with the green android bug icon.
5. Install the downloaded apk.
6. Finally, reboot your device. The call recorder should work now. You might have to grant permissions (for me all permissions were granted upon installation). The recorded files will be in Sounds/CallRecord.
