ONLY FOR ROOTED USERS OP3T IN OOS 4.1.6

Update:It's also working on No limits rom based on4.1.6 and freedomOS based on OB8:good:

1. Use any root explorer
2.Root/System/build.prop
3.Find "persist.sys.oem.region=OverSeas" without quotes
4.Replace "persist.sys.oem.region=CN" without quotes
4.Save and reboot
Voila

Call recording now available on STOCK OOS 4.1.6 in 3T

Open beta does not need this hack, it's have call recorder enable for all

Side effects? It wont cause a huge affect. Im using this with no problem.

Works like a charm on my OP3T with OOS 4.1.6. *thumbsup*
The only effects i saw, was my phone version is now H2OS as well. See above sparky vicky told it already. And another side effect was, that changing the buttons back and last in the settings were suddenly changed the other way round...

Cheers! Working on open beta 17 on the OnePlus 3. I did have to toggle the swap buttons to get them back to the way I want them. Maybe the buttons are swapped by default in China.

Try it yourself, It isn't permanent, if it doesn't work just edit buildprop to say "OverSeas" (no quotes) again and reboot :good:
