I'm thinking of buying the incoming Nexus 5. And my question to you is: Since Nexus uses clean android version, do you feel that it lacks some features that other manufacturers add to their flagships?

Any Nexus user's opinion about the usage of the device and their opinion about other device customization would be great .

Its all preference, to many the features added to the other flagship phones are just bloatware and gimmicks, to others its amazing
Personally I find closest to pure android the best and even on my non nexus devices I tend to use the closest to pure aosp as I can (with minor adjustments to fit my needs)
If all you are looking for is opinion here, go with the current n4 that's only 200$ off contract and you won't find a comparable phone for that price for years. If you want the latest and greatest you'll have to wait at least a month or more as no one is for sure when its coming and what specs/features it will have for sure

Nope I love Nexus.. It has more costumization and if you flash a custom ROM it has even more features. You always will have the newest updates. Nexus has amazing development, support and features. I'm loving it. Touchwiz, sense, lg ui and Sony just looks different to me.. But I think it is less costumizable and slower.

Samsung's TW has a elobarate features, but it is so buggy and lags in doing simpler tasks like making phone calls. After syncing FB contacts, use TW contacts app, it even lags in S3. There are just one or 2 features I am using in TW, rest are bloat. I would sacrifice those features for smooth and clean UX..Definitely my next phone will be Nexus, if not Moto X or Note3(The only series of phones Sammy phones that deserve respect). But if you are prefering Note 3, you should ask yourselves one question whether you would be doing tasks that require the Stylus, if not there is no use of buying a Note device.
