Ok, i try to tell you how i did it...
1-I uncompressed the file "MiuiCameraMod_V1.6.zip"
2-You can see 3 folders.
you open sdcard/device_features and edit device.xml like they comment other menbers of the group.
the line after <features>:
<features>
<!-- whether the device has dual sd card -->
<bool name="support_dual_sd_card">true</bool>
....... rest of the lines.
3-After this, compress the 3 folders again.You can change the name if you want to avoid confusions with previus file.
4-install this file with twrp...
Now you can see in the settings of the camara the option to save in sd card...

I am on omnirom right now. I am using the one from the first post. It works after giving all necessary permissions. But I noticed that manual mode has only two options and it force closes. I also noticed that theres only few options in modes. Flash shots are also yellowish, any solution on this?

I was able to install your zip on OMNIROM which is not on treble yet and I was able to make it work, I was wondering if HDR works cause it seems it has no effect

Latest experimental works very well.. Only thing in slowmotion has wave like pattern of dark moving along the screen. All fine otherwise

Could someone please guide me to port miui camera to aosp.... I'm having rn5 pro(whyred), I tried to get the same files as in this zip from it's firmware and used them to replace the ones in LOS but it didn't work....could someone help me regarding this??
Anyone had a working hdr on latest experimental? There isnt any effect, im.on los15.1
