Camera and Gallery Fix [CyanogenMod 11/12.1/13] Update

Same thing happened to me. Also told me that I didn't have a sim card. I'm using the 9505

The problem is the build.prop file, you had to remove it. Now flash again the rom to fix the problem (no wipe required).

Then flash this zip attached (I only removed build.prop file, please @marouane80 update the first post)

i found a very nice alternative that can record at 30 fps. and have plenty of "professional" settings. it's a standalone camcorder app "Cinema FV-5"
that of coz it won't be link to your native camera app, to do so you need to download "Camera FV-5" that is a pretty cool camera app imho. this both app are inter linked to each other in app so you can switch between photo and camcorder within both apps. do take note that they don't support front facing camera at the moment.

Yes, you are right, this app can record @30fps. But like Snap camera it records videos at high iso (maybe for more brightness) and the result is a lot of noise
For me, CM camera is the best

Much appreciated. Tested on Resurrection Remix 5.5.8 and works great. Smooth video, pictures work. Was dual booting cause I needed touchwiz for its camcorder and tv casting. Now I bought a router with usb drive hookups so I can put my videos on it and play from there. Now with the camcorder not an issue I may never need touchwiz again!
