Camera app 16:9 option for pictures?

Hi guys,

I'm 100% inclined to get the Essential Phone, and wanted to ask if it has the option of taking pictures in the 16:9 format? I know the video obviously has that option, but I am not sure about the photos.

Not with the stock camera app. You should be able to with other camera app s though

You're right, I went to Best Buys and installed another Camera app from Google Play that had that option, and 16:9 format works great.

All I'm going to wait now is the Space Gray color
