I got that alot too but then I found out it was the way I tried to take the picture. Like the object was too close or far away or something... Maybe badly lightning, too

Ise the stock camera app. Go to the capture settings. There you can choose the record mode.

Did you try to install it as a normal app? On which firmware are you?

It says it should work on Z1. And I'm using 14.2.A.0.290. And yes I'm installing as normal app.
