Camera broken

I've run into a problem with my camera on the sensation.
Whenever I try to open the app the screen just dimms (slowly but can still interact with it) and then pops back to original settings, the camera itself never starts.

This happened to me on the viper roms (1.1.0 and the new 1.2.0) both with and without camera HQ mods.
tried everything from clean install with full wipe to fixing permissions.
I truly hope it isn't something hardware related.

Absolutely nobody who know3s anything about this problem?
I get an pop up saying "Camera Open Error" "starten Camera mislukt" in dutch
The front camera also seems to have given up doing anything but black screen (tested via mirror app)

I have a problem with my Camera on my sensation taking black pics only camera app I have found to work is Fast Burst Camera. I have tried about 20 different camera apps. Even tried going back to standard ruu

Try posted in the ViperS thread, you'd most likely get a reply there. I've never had anything like that happen to me before.
