Hi
I can use manual shutter speed from about 20 seconds up to 1/500 second on the Bacon and Freedcam apps using official RR cancro build. Manual ISO also works.
Phone is MI4 W with MicroG.
Earlier on the Unofficial RR / Nitrogen and the AOSP CAF build by Vasishath and Sahan I could never access any of the Manual settings, low light images come out good

A bit off topic, what advantage does OSS camera HAL have if it disables manual modes in the app.
I see quite often roms with OSS camera HAL and have tried quite a few, but manual settings never worked on them.
Would appreciate if some one could enlighten me :)

As in title: Camera2api tested on xiaomi.eu modded miui 8 nougat rom is almost working.
Adding in buildprop : 'persist.camera.HAL3.enabled=1' Camera2 api support is present but image in main camera is flipped. Do you know any solution or fix about it?
Hello guys, has anyone found a fix for this? I'm running LOS 14.1 and I enabled camera2 api but I can't find a way to fix the flipped image, thanks in advance.

In "camera2 test" app, i found the line "android.sensor.orientation" and it set at 270. Can we fix the flipped problem by edit it?
That orientation is set in kernel itself. Xiomi set it like that so it wont break or mess up apps that use legacy camera API (we currently use on libra).

You could compile the kernel back with 0 degree camera oreintation but whatever happen next, I have no idea.

What if the hardware (camera sensor) is mounted upside down to fit the board design. Can we just set the orientation to 0 degree? The default is set to 180 degree, maybe to compensate the flipped sensor to display the image to the right angle on the screen.
Just wondering...
is this problem has been solved yet?
