Camera flash stopped working!

I have searched but nothing relevant came up....

Noticed today that the flash no longer works, the flash icon when view finding is greyed out!
Battery was at about 60% at the time as I thought maybe if it was too low it would disable the flash.

Any ideas?

I had the same issue a few days ago, but it worked again the other day without changing anything, not even softreset.

Make sure you are using the default picture mode.

Another thing you could check is this key:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\HTC\Camera\Common:FlashLight
It should be set to "1".

Or maybe soft reset it, usually fixes any issue I have lol.

For me when the battery level goes below 20% the flash will stop coming up as on option, when you charge it back up it will allow flash again.

Yup, that's it Dude! When battery is below 30% the flash won't fire anymore.

Thats nice to know, just found mine greyed out & was thinking it may of been linked to recently installed CamCard app but it was battery level so I can relax now

there was a tweak to disable this, so flash would work even on low battery.
can't remember where I saw it.
