Camera glass cover question

I replaced camera glass (not lens) because it was cracked. Looks like new one is plastic, it can be easily scratces and if I remember correctly original one is glass not plastic. Is every replacement is plastic or I bought bad one, this is important because I can't afford them easily. You guys pay 5 but I have to pay 20 or more.

You can get a glass original samsung from Ebay, not expensive

1 $ = 3.67 ₺ that makes 5$ product costs me 18.38₺ which is high for me to buy another to try many times.

Can you recommend another site? (they shutdown paypal in my country so i can not shop from ebay)

Do a thing take your phone to a watch repair shop who puts glass in wrist watches, and ask them to cut the glass of the phone camera size and apply it on your phone. Got mine fixed from a local watch repair shop at 1.5$ and the camera is working just fine as it used to do.

I bought a plastic one and you are correct scratches easily, i found one on amazon which is glass https://www.amazon.com/Mudder/b/ref...8123742011&field-lbr_brands_browse-bin=Mudder
hope this helps ..its a little more difficult to install so watch the video on youtube first to get correct order of pieces

Hi guys. I just have a quick question. I bought my note 4 2nd hand and upon checking i noticed there's a small crack on the glass cover of the rear camera. When i tried using the camera, it could not focus at all. It keeps blurring. So i replaced the glass cover, and when i tried using the camera again, same issue is still present.

Should i just change the entire camera assembly?
