I don't understand the question. How many??? what bitrate default?

I can work on the bitrate question. what bitrate is it using now? what do you mean by processing in real time? you mean it might not finish right away when I hit "stop" ? I noticed sometimes when I record 4k it will say processing at the end before I can do anything else.

I am totally ok with that if that is what you mean.

is this an APK mod? so need the 4k mod built into it or separate?

In simple words - it is impossible to improve the quality of "slow motion" mode. Firmware is main reason.

I'm using the unlimited 50mbit version on wicked. Works just fine (I think).
I didn't use the vid recording much before I switched it over but now that I was playing with it I noticed that while recording 4k video with the flashlight on the flashlight automatically turns off after just maybe 30 seconds of recording time and gives a message that disappears really quick but says something like the flash will become available again after a cool down period. wtf is going on, 30 seconds and then poof? Between this and the screen constantly changing brightness levels all by itself even with all adaptive options off this thermal crap is getting really annoying. Does anyone else experience this or (these) issues that doesn't live in an icy climate. Ambient room temp that I just tested this with is about 77F

The same problem here, but after 4:30 Minutes, turns the flashlight out.
And yes, it's very annoying, the screen brightness changes constantly.
If someone have a fix , can you post it

Your CPU is overheating (high load). LED will burn if temp is very high. Try to lower CPU frequency to 1200 Mhz or so.

Try to instal original camera and compare.

Yeah you are right I'll compare with the original. You know what I just realized though, is that the Note 3 has the dumbest design in regards to heat dissipation and tolerance of heat sensitive parts. On my S3 the cpu was at the bottom near the home key and the led flash was up by the ear piece. No overlap of heat that way. On the Note 3 they obviously put the cpu and flash LED right next to each other at the top of the phone. Wow... what the heck were they thinking? Then the neurotic screen brightness no matter what you do (even at low brightness)... This dream phone does come with some caveats. I did note already though that if you use the standard google widget for assist light that it is only about half or a third as bright as the new note 3 widget for light. If I use the standard light widget and have it on before recording I can video record with the light on for a long time. Too bad they only give 1 setting for this cam app that uses the highest brightness in the app.

Before you deleted what you said I read it and tes I recorded a piece of paper with typed words on it from 3 feet with 1080 and 4k and zoomed in and with the 4k the words were clear as he'll while the 1080 was blurred but still readable

Steps:
1. Download the zip (choose one you like according to 4GB file size or Unlimited for exFat cards)
2. DO NOT I REPEAT DO NOT FLASH THE ZIP (GO TO STEP 3!!!!!)
3. Rename it to SamsungCamera2.apk
4. Use es file explorer to drag it to /system/app and overwrite the SamsunCamera2.apk that's there (or rename the original to SamsungCamera2.bak then copy it over)
5. Set permissions to rw-r-r
6. IF and ONLY IF you see SamsungCamera2.odex delete it (this will only work if you do this now granted I'm not sure if it causes problems with odexed roms or not or if it will cause a bootloop)
7. Reboot
8. Good to go

Ok done, but only have 256kbs sound, the 4K video has 50Mbps max (not 100).

That worked for me on a rooted (Kingo) ATT Note 3 with MJ5. Thanks a lot! This 4k looks much smoother during motion than the 50mbit one.

Oh yeah, I had to edit the media_profiles.xml in etc too and change it to 100mbit in addition to changing the app.
