Media profiles is found in system/etc/media_profiles.xml.

thanks for your camera MOD for our S4, but i can´t get on 1080p 60fps the 44MB/s, only the standart 28MB/s, I have tryed the normal 1080p 30fps and its not 22MB/s its the standart 16-17MB/s, but 4K unlimited works and with 52MB/s, so something is not completed..
Do you think you could review it ? , or do you think it could be my Stock 4.3: media_profiles.xml ( It´s attached if you think you could see there something to manage). I you finally have to change something in my media_profiles.xml, and sent it to me again, i only have to replace it and restart my phone and that`s it.. ?

I have done everything according to OP instruction but I cannot see any options in Camera to choose between different FPS etc.
Camera menu looks excatly the same as stock one - no changes.
All my video are recorded with 30FPS as default.

What am i doing wrong?

I'm runnig Echo ROM 4.4.2
My device is N9005

There won't be any new options. The mod just increases the bitrates of 4k, 1080p 60/30fps and 100%image quality. You can check the bitrate using MXPlayer's properties.

Maybe the phone is too near to focus? On my N3, I notice that the focus is a bit of a hit and miss in low light.

The individual bitrate of 1080p 60/30p are only found in the camera apk, not the media_profiles.xml. If your 4k records up to 52mbit then there's no need to replace the media_profiles.xml

From what I know, 1080/60p mode is upscaled from another resolution hence the slightly lower quality when compared to 1080/30p. But I hope the higher bitrate will improve things!

Yeah, it seems that I am totally unable to get a clear focus when I'm within 6" or so of whatever I'm attempting to photo. I'm not sure that I'd call it low light, necessarily, but being under a really bright light seems to improve things...

If you can´t make it, don´t worry, for me the most important is the Video quality than the Audio

i have made an spanish tutorial how to install your MOD in our S4(i9506) over 3900 members have seen it and really apreciate your work
There are many that told me that they have tryed your MOD, and made several comparisions, and the say that the 4K unlimited quality is perfect and the sound quality from 128kbps to 256kbps is just insane but they still do not see much difference increasing the bitrate in the 1080 60fps/30fps and the comsume of MB is too high, for the not better video quality:silly:.
So there are about 25 members asking me if it could be posible to get the same MOD you sent me yesterday with
STOCK 1080p 60fps "28Mb/s" / 30fps "17Mb/s"
The 4K unlimited 50Mb/s + 256kbps on all video Modes are perfect for all
