Camera Mod [Higher Quality/Better]

I have the same problem. I have AT&T 4.4.2 and it does not work. I tried different methods. One time after flashing, accessing my camera's filters kept crashing the camera app. This doesn't seem to work for the Note 3 N900A for AT&T. If Anyone has it working on AT&T please let me know. OP, please update compatibility post.

It would be nice if there was an app that calibrates the camera by fixing the saturation and color temp as soon as the picture is taken (not post processing).

It works on my ATT Note 3, I rooted mine, modded the app, then unrooted so apps that detect root would still work. Hopefully the same mod comes out for the Note 4 soon.

i get my note 4 tommorow... but i cant physically have it in my hands till 3 days later. Once its rooted i plan on ripping it apart and figuring out if i can make it unlimited

Camera Mod for T-Mobile 4.4.2

Hey there , I was wondering if I could get some direction? I have seen at least 3 threads about this mod, and I remember seeing that certain mods didn't work on 4.4.2. I currently have an unrooted stock 4.4.2 N900T that I plan on rooting simply for the 100mb v 256k a 4gb cap mod. Could someone help direct me? I should be able to root on my own, but what files do I need to mod my phone? Thank you very much.

It seems like no body got the links anymore, and nobody need/want to even help on this matter, i searched alot but i'm not a developer to be able to know which file i should modify, i played with the APK and decomplied it but it is my wall, cannot find which files to change, i made a thread on the help section but it seems like no one will answer there either, i'm not sure why the OP is not responding or even why he deleted his files from his website, which clearly can hold as many files as he want, but anyway it is his work and no one can judge him since we did NOT pay for anything either donated, anyway if anyone know anything please PM me or replay to my thread, peace :highfive:

Steps:
1. Download the zip (choose one you like according to 4GB file size or Unlimited for exFat cards)
2. DO NOT I REPEAT DO NOT FLASH THE ZIP (GO TO STEP 3!!!!!)
3. Rename it to SamsungCamera2.apk
4. Use es file explorer to drag it to /system/app and overwrite the SamsunCamera2.apk that's there (or rename the original to SamsungCamera2.bak then copy it over)
5. Set permissions to rw-r-r
6. IF and ONLY IF you see SamsungCamera2.odex delete it (this will only work if you do this now granted I'm not sure if it causes problems with odexed roms or not or if it will cause a bootloop)
7. Reboot
8. Good to go

Options:
10,20,30,40,50,100 Mbit
all have 100 JPEG quality,
all have 256Kbit audio bitrate,
all have changed file format to "yyyy.MM.dd_hh.mm.ss".

But i while testing i noticed that it wasn't working as expected: in 4k mode it was recording at 50mbps and audio was recorded at ~170kbps . So i also fixed media_profiles.xml (found in system/etc) to make android able to handle 65mbit 4k and 256kbit audio. However audio bitrate is not constant: you see that it'll be recorded ~220kbps still higher than before.

On the other thread for the Note 4 i already had some suggestions.
Please read them. Even if you might find them useless lol.

You might know, that you can actually restart the recording directly afetr the 5 Minutes so there's no reason for Samsung to set this time limit.
For the Xpéria™-Devices, they overheat.

But now four random things, that i don't like so much about the Note 3 Camera

• You need two taps to get to the settings...
• No Manual Camera Settings for Shutter Speed, Focus, Aparture and so on.
• Slow Motion - Output file Encoded to 30 fps instead of 120fps+Audio (Thread)
• There's always x4.0 Zoom Available - not always lossless (but still better than the horrible x8.0 from the Note 4. It's so easy to fool people with digital zoom :laugh

And i won a Zoom-Battle with a 2007-Camera with 8 Megapixels. (not against but with using it.)

This thread is going to be modified over time and if anyone finds the HEX locations to modify for image quality, video quality, size limit (that works) etc let me know in a post and i will start creating a list.

Look up ag the 2 posts i quoted. They have links. Sorry. One day i was cleaning up my server and accidentally deleted all the note 3 filea i had.. boot animations, mods and roms
